I'm currently at work and started listening to this late. I've always figured that UFOs should be able to travel underwater with no problem since they can travel through air with ease. Both are fluid mediums and, since UFOs don't seem to cause sonic booms, it doesn't seem like they perturb the surrounding medium by much (if at all). Also, the best way for a UFO to get around would be through large rivers and other bodies of water since it'll be considerably less visible. Finally, when it comes to absorption of water by UFOs, I'd have to make an educated guess. Water would make a quick, easily replaceable radiation shield that's especially effective in scattering cosmic rays and other high energy radiation beams. One of the problems with extended space travel is that of radiation. Thus a water shield is a good match for spacecraft.

This is yet another INCREDIBLE interview with Katharina Wilson. It's a shame that every time she is on the audio is very bad, but that makes it even more essential that everyone listen to this show. The real tragedy is that everyone in America really needs to hear this one specific show, and they won't. So whatever any one person can do to promote this, please do. I am sure the next time the audio well be much better, but do not let that detract you from listening to the entire show. Once again, thank you Joe and Katharina, you both have important insights that will eventually be understood by most people.
